Group sessions are another therapeutic approach. Group therapy creates a powerful environment in which attendees can achieve mental health treatment goals with the support of others. You can gain strong interpersonal skills and coping tools from others who are, or have been, experiencing similar life changes.

I recently founded a group called The Expat Experience, for expat individuals who are currently living in Amsterdam.  The group sessions provide an opportunity for other expats who are struggling with similar issues to learn from others.  It is a great way to fine tune your coping tools and develop strategies on how to make the best of your time abroad.  It helps one process the self growth that happens when an individual goes from being comfortable with the "uncomfortable."  The group is geared towards those interested in making the most out of their expatriate experience.
